Job Summary
The Accountant I reports to the Director, Accounting and plays a key role in managing core operational accounting activities for multiple FC Cincinnati subsidiaries. This position is responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with GAAP standards. Key responsibilities include managing general ledger activity, revenue recognition, multi-entity reporting, and preparing for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes. The Accountant I will also assist with banking operations, balance sheet reconciliations, external audit preparation, and league-required financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a proactive mindset and a commitment to excellence. This role requires someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and consistently delivers high-quality, detail-oriented work.
