Manager, Ticket Sales – Overview:
Sacramento Republic FC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Ticket Sales to lead our ticket sales team. This individual will play a critical role in driving ticket revenue through full season memberships, half season memberships, flex plans, and group sales, while mentoring a high-performing sales team.

The Manager, Ticket Sales is responsible for coaching and developing sales staff, creating and executing sales strategies, and fostering a positive and competitive culture that supports the personal and professional growth of each team member. This leader will also maintain a personal book of business with a focus on new business development, B2B sales, premium seating, and large group outings. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a successful track record of ticket sales in the sports industry, a passion for leadership, and a deep understanding of the ticket sales process.

Responsibilities:
  •  Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and accountability to Sales Associates and Account Executives.
  •  Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales reps in collaboration with the Director of Ticket Sales.
  •  Maintain an active personal sales pipeline, with a focus on new full season ticket memberships, premium group experiences, and B2B relationships.
  •  Lead regular 1-on-1 meetings and biweekly performance check-ins with team members to provide feedback, review KPIs,  and track development goals.
  • Motivate the team through individualized support, dynamic sales contests, and goal-oriented leadership.
  • Promote a collaborative, positive, and competitive team culture that aligns with the values of Sacramento Republic FC.
  •  Manage and execute both long- and short-term outbound sales campaigns with a focus on new memberships and group outings.
  •  Build and implement creative ticketing packages, theme nights, and revenue-driving strategies.
  •  Monitor daily sales activity to ensure each team member consistently meets outreach goals (50+ outbound calls/day).
  • Oversee CRM and ticketing system lead management; ensure equitable and effective lead distribution.
  •  Generate detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, analyzing individual and team performance while tracking progress toward club revenue goalsoordinate with other departments to support matchday operations, group experiences, and VIP activations.
  • Schedule matchday responsibilities and ensure accurate headcounts for hospitality, signage, and other logistics.
  •  Run efficient, solutions-focused team meetings; take initiative on follow-up tasks and department deliverables.
  • Represent the club at networking events to cultivate relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on organizational goals and initiatives.
  •  Set the tone for a professional, high-energy work environment that prioritizes growth, accountability, and fun.

A. Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must have 3+ years of ticket sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding individual and team sales goals.
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to deliver presentations and develop strong working relationships with members, staff, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, CRM, SeatGeek.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Passion for soccer, the sports industry, and helping others grow.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by match and event schedules.

Position and Benefits Details:
• Status: Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
• Compensation: $23-$26 hourly rate + Commission + Bonus Structure
• Department: Ticket Sales & Service
• Reports to: Sr. Director, Tickets Sales & Service
• Location: SRFC Front Office (Sacramento, CA)- Onsite
