ABOUT SAC REPUBLIC FC: Sacramento Republic FC is one of the premier clubs in USL Championship. Since 2014, the club has reflected the Indomitable nature of California’s Capital City, breaking league records year over year, winning the championship in its inaugural season, and sparking a regional passion for soccer. Owned and managed by a joint venture partnership between Wilton Rancheria and Kevin Nagle, the club will continue to invest in the city, with plans to build a Downtown soccer-specific stadium that will redefine entertainment in the growing and evolving Sacramento region. Along with its partners, Republic FC is committed to supporting various community investment programs to serve the city, use its platform to drive impact and success on and off the field, and operate the region’s only youth-to-pro soccer development academy, while also supporting the development of youth soccer players throughout Northern California.
VICE PRESIDENT, PARTNERSHIPS – OVERVIEW:
Reporting directly to Sacramento Republic FC’s Chief Revenue Officer and collaborating with both Elevate and the Club’s leadership team, the Vice President of Partnerships will lead the strategic sales and development of marquee sponsorship assets—including stadium naming rights, jersey sponsorships, founding and local partnerships—for Republic FC’s new downtown Railyards Stadium, set to open in 2027. This individual will serve as the expert on industry partnership trends, emerging categories, and best practices, integrating Elevate insights into a comprehensive go-to-market sponsorship strategy. They will inspire and guide their team, develop innovative marketing platforms, and manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and procurement to negotiation and closing—to establish long-term, sustainable partnerships on behalf of Elevate’s client.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, lead and inspire a positive sales and team-first culture that works collaboratively across all key internal stakeholder departments
- Continuously network and build relationships with senior-level decision makers at both local and regional major corporations, teams, leagues, and venues
- Determine a campaign and category segmentation strategy that serves as the team’s road map to achieving the Club’s departmental short-term and long-term revenue goals
- Meet with prospects and partners in-person to perform discovery, and to gain an understanding of their objectives
- Work with clients to develop new partnership platforms, campaigns, and assets that seamlessly integrate into partner marketing initiatives
- Work with stadium contractors and project managers to identify sellable assets throughout/surrounding the Railyards Stadium development, and the team’s new state-of-the-art Training Facility
- Assist Elevate Creative Team with creating customized sales proposals (design, graphics, terms, assets, language, etc.)
- Construct and deliver executive-level presentations with the ability to conduct full negotiations with clients through contracting phase
- Host productive weekly sales meetings with purpose, shared learnings, ideation and progressive take away steps
- Report and keep team up to date on industry best practices, emerging categories, industry trends, etc.
- Participate in individual weekly reporting to track prospects, partners and renewal accounts along with their respective investment levels
- Effectively work closely with all departments within the organization to help maximize revenues and identify new incremental revenue opportunities
- Participate in community and industry-related events, conferences and associations that will enhance the Club’s reputation and potential for success while building new relationships with local/regional industry leaders
- Lead a culture that establishes organized, detailed inventory tracking and management through CRM and accompany software platforms
- Achieve annual department sales goal/assist department in achieving annual overall revenue targets

QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. A. Education and/or Experience
● Bachelor’s degree required
● Must have 8+ years of direct, relevant work experience
● Direct Partnerships and B2B sales and marketing experience preferred
● Must have a proven track record of delivering 6 and 7 figure sponsorships
● Experience prospecting and selling stadium naming rights, on-uniform branding (jersey patches, front of kits, etc.)
● Experience in closing long-term integrated partnerships
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● Excellent oral and written communication skills to deliver presentations and to develop strong working relationships with partners, coworkers and other stakeholders.
● Proficient in Docs, Sheets, Canva, CRM, Adobe, Tableau
● Advanced project management skills

● This position requires occasional off-peak work on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
POSITION AND BENEFITS DETAILS:
● Full Time – Exempt
● Compensation: $135,000-$165,000 + performance bonuses

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
