Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service to lead our ticketing operations and drive revenue growth. This key leadership role will oversee all aspects of ticket sales, from season ticket memberships to single-game sales, while building strong community connections and ensuring exceptional fan service that reflects our organization’s culture.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Strategy
  • Develop and execute comprehensive ticket sales strategies to maximize revenue across all seating categories and price points
  • Lead annual season ticket membership campaigns, targeting growth in both new and renewed memberships
  • Oversee single-game ticket sales and group sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing and partnerships teams to create integrated revenue-driving campaigns
  • Interpret market trends, growth landscape, and pricing strategies to optimize revenue opportunities

Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 sales and service professionals, including group sales, business development, and customer service representatives
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics that align with growth intentions
  • Implement cross-training programs to ensure team versatility in the dynamic ticketing space
  • Foster a collaborative, community-focused culture that reflects an authentic fan experience

Customer Experience & Retention
  • Develop and implement customer service standards that exceed fan expectations
  • Oversee season ticket holder retention programs and initiatives
  • Lead customer lifecycle management strategies from acquisition through renewal
  • Interpret customer data and feedback to continuously improve service delivery
  • Manage customer relationship management (CRM) system and processes

Operations & Technology
  • Oversee ticketing platform operations, along with Box Office Operations
  • Ensure seamless integration between ticketing systems, CRM platforms, and other revenue-generating tools
  • Monitor and optimize ticket distribution channels, including online, mobile, and third-party platforms
  • Implement data-driven decision making through comprehensive reporting and analytics

Partnerships & Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, corporate partnerships, and gameday operations teams in a hands-on, collaborative environment
  • Collaborate with League Office on best practices and league-wide initiatives
  • Build relationships with local community organizations
  • Represent the organization at events and community functions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in ticket sales, preferably in professional sports or entertainment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience leading sales teams of 5+ people
  • Proven track record of building revenue streams and achieving growth targets in emerging or smaller markets
  • Experience with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and digital marketing tools
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build authentic community relationships
  • Experience with grassroots marketing and community engagement strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in relevant field
  • Experience in leading ticketing deparments in a professional or collegiate sports environment
  • Previous experience with ticketing platforms and technology solutions
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) highly valued 
  • Experience building and engaging with passionate fan bases
  • Knowledge of soccer culture, community-based marketing, and authentic fan engagement strategies

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for match days and events
  • Occasional travel for away matches, league meetings, and industry conferences
  • Standard office environment with regular stadium and event attendance
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during events
