ABOUT CENTREVILLE BANK STADIUM
Centreville Bank Stadium is a state-of-the-art, 100 percent electric, soccer-specific stadium on the banks of the Seekonk River. Named Best New Venue of 2025 by SportsTravel Magazine, Centreville Bank Stadium is the flagship destination for sports and entertainment in the Ocean State. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of senior leadership, the Account Executive, Ticket Sales is responsible for generating new ticketing revenue, cultivating strong client relationships, and supporting the long-term growth of Rhode Island FC’s ticketing business. This role focuses on outbound sales, strategic prospecting, premium product presentations, and delivering exceptional service to prospective and existing clients. The Account Executive, Ticket Sales contributes to the overall success of the ticket sales department through consistent activity levels, professionalism, and a commitment to achieving individual and organizational revenue goals. The Account Executive, Ticket Sales will coordinate related projects, responsibilities and initiatives that support ancillary events at Centreville Bank Stadium.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute sales calls, presentations, and outreach promoting the purchase of new stadium ticket products to meet sales objectives set by leadership.
• Proactively solicit and follow up on sales leads under supervisor guidelines using CRM; regularly prospect to maintain a robust pipeline capable of meeting weekly KPIs for calls, emails, and meetings.
• Participate in scheduled meetings with the Director to evaluate processes, refine sales strategies, and align on departmental goals for prospecting, new business and client retention.
• Work additional events, promotions, client entertainment activities, and community events as assigned, with a focus on prospecting and cultivating new clients.
• Collaborate with ticket sales and service team members to ensure accurate inventory management, including submitting all deal sheets through CRM once verbally agreed upon by clients, and delivering responsive customer service to inbound leads.
• Work all Rhode Island FC home games and select stadium events, including international matches, concerts, and special events; position requires nights, weekends, and holidays based on organizational needs.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans in partnership with senior leadership to achieve revenue goals across ticketing and premium products.
• Independently negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients within organizational guidelines, ensuring profitability and long-term client value.
• Provide mentorship, support, and occasional training to junior sales staff or interns to contribute to overall team development and success.
• Create and present comprehensive sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership using CRM data and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
· Critical Ancillary Stadium Event Support: RIFC & Centreville Bank Stadium operate as “one team” therefore you, from time to time, will be directed to provide support and on occasion work as assigned for events at Centreville Bank Stadium.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, sports business, entertainment, or related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
• Experience with CRM systems and the ability to maintain accurate and organized data.
• Professional presence with strong negotiation, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with non-traditional hours.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
COMPENSATION:
Base salary of $40,000 - $50,000, plus commission. Benefits beginning on day one.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE:
• Role requires availability for all Rhode Island FC home matches and applicable stadium events.
• Frequent evening, weekend, and holiday work required based on event schedules.
• Position is based in Rhode Island with regular in-person presence at the team office and stadium.
