Ottawa Rapid FC is a founding member of the Northern Super League — Canada's first professional women's soccer league — alongside clubs in Halifax, Montréal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and Winnipeg (joining in 2027). We're part of something historic, and in year two we're just getting started.
At Ottawa Rapid FC, we believe purpose and performance go hand in hand. We push for excellence, chase continuous improvement, and hold ourselves to a high standard — all while staying rooted in the values and community that make this club what it is. If that sounds like your kind of place, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new group sales opportunities through cold outreach, community events, networking, and social media, targeting youth soccer clubs, schools, community organizations, and beyond.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with community groups and minor soccer associations, serving as the primary point of contact between the club and prospective group clients.
- Conduct client needs assessments, develop tailored package recommendations, and close group sales agreements that create meaningful fan experiences.
- Oversee ticket fulfillment and group experience logistics, working closely with the game-day operations team to ensure smooth execution on matchday.
- Represent Rapid FC with enthusiasm and professionalism at community events and activations, reinforcing the club's presence across Ottawa.
- Monitor market trends, fan demand, and competitor pricing to help inform sales strategy and keep the club's offerings competitive.
- Gather and relay client feedback to shape future sales initiatives and promotional offerings.
- Support the team with reporting, sales materials, internal coordination, and inbound inquiries.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on an ongoing basis without employer-specific sponsorship.
- 1+ years of experience in direct sales, account management, or a related customer-facing role; equivalent experience in a relevant field will be considered.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), Ticketmaster/Archtics, and tools such as Monday.com, Tradable Bits, and Excel.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule year-round, including evenings, weekends, and all home match days.
Your application will stand out if you:
- Are fluently bilingual in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Are a self-starter who takes initiative, stays organized, and brings genuine energy to building new relationships.
- Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing momentum.
- Thrive when every day looks different — and are excited by the rhythms of professional sport, including the seasons that demand a little more.
- Bring a genuine love for the beautiful game!
