Assistant Coaching - Fall Sports

Positions are available for Fall Sport Coaches with Mankato East Athletics beginning August 2026. These positions are for approximately 2 hours per day/5 days per week (after school).  

Fall sports:

• Cross Country - Boys
• Cross Country - Girls
• Football
• Soccer - Boys
• Soccer - Girls
• Swim & Dive - Girls
• Tennis - Girls
• Volleyball - Girls

Summary of Duties:

• Prepare successful practice and performance plans while encouraging student participation, establishing team rapport, and motivating participants to achieve maximum potential.
• Be an example of sportsmanship
• Maintain equipment and inventory of all equipment, including uniforms.
• Supervise all areas of participation, including but not limited to: gyms, fields, locker rooms, buses, pools, etc.
• Work collaboratively with other coaching staff, Activities Director, families, and community resources.
• Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL

Preferred Qualities: 

Previous participation and/or coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.

Qualifications Required:
Must meet MSHSL and Board guidelines 

Application Deadline:

Rate of Pay:
$1,823 to $4,725 depending on level, activity, and experience.
