Description: The Ramapo Indian Hills Regional HS District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Girls Soccer Coach at Ramapo High School for the 2026-2027 season. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the soccer program, fostering a positive environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, drills, and workouts.
• Organize/plan practices & game strategy/management for sub varsity team
• Provide instruction on soccer techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Support game-day operations, including warm-ups, and post-game analysis.
• Mentor student-athletes, promoting academic success and development.
• Assist with equipment management and logistics with players and parents.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and respectful team culture.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate or substitute certificate
• Previous coaching and/or playing experience in soccer at the high school, collegiate, or club level, preferred.
• Knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, athletic staff, and school administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for high school athletes.
• Availability for practices, games, and team events, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: In accordance with the RIHEA Agreement, currently between $4320 and $5871
