Assistant Soccer Coach

Soccer Shots runs the recreational soccer league for children ages PreK-8th grade at the Lockport Township Park District. We are looking for assistant coaches to help our head coaches during practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Saturday refereeing opportunities are also available (certification not required).

 
The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:
1. A love of working with young children and making a difference in their lives.
2. The ability to follow a pre-written curriculum. Our coaches are not required to develop their own practice plans.
3. Have reliable transportation.
4. Be enthusiastic and high-energy. 

5. Have good physical stamina as you could be running, kneeling, and squatting on a field for up to 3 hours. Coaches must be able to carry an equipment bag that contains 14 balls, nets, and more.  
6. Must be at least 16 years old and highly reliable.
