Reports to:  Senior Director, Ticket Sales Operations and Business Intelligence  

Compensation: $23 - an hour 

Shift: 4-5 hours a game

Oakland Roots SC is seeking Box Office Support Staff to assist with matchday and event operations. This role is essential in ensuring an efficient, organized, and engaging ticketing experience for our fans. The Box Office Support Staff will work closely with Club Services/Ticketing, and In-Game Entertainment to deliver a seamless ticketing experience on game days and special events.

Responsibilities:

• Process ticket sales and exchanges accurately using SeatGeek Unify ticketing system.
• Provide customer service and information on event schedules, pricing, seat selection, and resolve ticket-related issues.
• Assist patrons with mobile ticketing, scanning and troubleshooting any issues with accessing ticket barcodes.
• Maintain professional, friendly, and efficient communication with patrons, often in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to process electronic payments on a computerized ticketing system.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• The ability to stand and work long periods of time. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
