Job Summary

The Assistant Boys Soccer Coach supports the head coach in all areas of the soccer program. This includes player development, practice management, and fostering a positive team environment consistent with the school’s mission and values.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and conducting practices and matches.
  • Provide individual and group instruction to improve performance.
  • Promote positive sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
  • Monitor academic and behavioral expectations of athletes.
  • Support administrative duties such as attendance, communication, and equipment management.
  • Step in for the head coach when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Previous playing or coaching experience preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring student-athletes.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
  • MSHSAA certification or eligibility for certification.
