Lexington Christian Academy is accepting applications for the Boys Soccer: Assistant Coach positions noted below for the Fall 2026 season. LCA seeks enthusiastic, responsible coaches with a desire to teach athletic, leadership, and team skills to students within the context of the LCA mission. In addition to submission of application and resume, a complete application will include a cover letterPlease specify in your application if you are applying for the MS or Varsity position. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Middle School Assistant Coach

  • Provide Soccer specific instruction and guidance to student-athletes
  • Support the MS Associate Head Coach in all necessary duties
  • Assist in facilitation of practices every weekday in-season (2:00 PM - 3:15 PM)
  • Assist in implementing program strategy and cohesion techniques
  • Assist in the development and implementation of in-game instructions
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of strength and conditioning
  • Work directly with the JV Associate Head Coach to:
    • Align program values and culture with that of LCA
    • Serve as a mentor athletically and spiritually to LCA student-athletes
    • Help facilitate and manage games
    • Adhere to all sports medicine guidelines and EAPs
    • Communicate all safety and security concerns


Salary: $1800, commensurate with coaching level


Varsity Assistant Coach

  • Provide Soccer specific instruction and guidance to student-athletes
  • Support the Head Coach in all necessary duties
  • Assist in facilitation of practices every weekday in-season (3:30 PM - 5:30 PM)
  • Assist in developing program strategy and cohesion techniques
  • Assist in the development and implementation of in-game instructions
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of strength and conditioning
  • Work directly with the Head Coach to: 
    • Align program values and culture with that of LCA
    • Serve as a mentor athletically and spiritually to LCA student-athletes
    • Help facilitate and manage games
    • Adhere to all sports medicine guidelines and EAPs
    • Communicate all safety and security concerns


Salary: $2600, commensurate with coaching level

SCHEDULE 

This is a seasonal position at approximately 14 hours per week.
