Boys Soccer Head Coach

Faribault, Minnesota, Shattuck St. Mary’s, an independent college preparatory boarding/day school located in Faribault, Minnesota, is seeking applicants for a Head Coach position within its Boys Soccer Program. Shattuck-St. Mary’s Boys Soccer is a well-established, high performance soccer development program for players in grades 7-12 and a founding member of the MLS NEXT development platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to on-field coaching all coaches are assigned other areas of responsibility within the Soccer program. Coaches are also expected to fulfill residential duties and student advisory associated with a boarding school as part of their job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

A USSF “B” coaching license is required, as a minimum

Past playing background at a collegiate or professional level is required

Coaching experience within a high-performance environment

Coach must want to excel at scouting and recruiting, which includes extensive travel

Personal relation skills providing for a positive relationship with student-athletes, peers, faculty and general public is an important requirement of the position

Effective computer skills required

Authorized to work in the United States

The compensation package includes salary, housing, meals, and benefits. Salary will be based on experience and range from $40,000 to $48,000.
