Business Development Representative (Soccer Market)
The Musco Developmental Sales Team has an opening for a Business Development Representative at our Oskaloosa, IA office. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!
Essential Criteria:
- A degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing
- 2-5 years of sales or marketing experience
- Multi-lingual for Spanish and English preferred
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the shared vision for product and market development and provide tactical strategies to make it happen
- Proven track record of developing and executing on marketing plans, promotions, communications, and materials
- Ability to focus on and communicate customer needs to the Team
- Identify market trends and success factors based on research and data
- Creative and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and computer skills
- Desire and willingness to learn and teach technical concepts and information
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
- Enjoy working in a constantly changing team environment
- Travel between 25-50% with night/weekend work likely
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Meet project creation and sales target goals
- Generate leads and inquiries
- Conduct site visits as needed
- Identify and research key relationships to build out multi-pitch partnerships
- Develop soccer relationships with an emphasis on non-profit work
- Help with the strategy and market development for the Mini-Pitch System and other soccer development initiatives
- Assist with current partnerships, including the U.S. Soccer Foundation and the United Soccer League
- Explore potential markets and customers that would benefit from the Mini-Pitch system and other products and services
- Assist with promotion initiatives and identify key trade shows and opportunities
