Camels Hump Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated head boys soccer coach for the upcoming Fall 2026 season. This is a rewarding opportunity to guide middle school athletes in developing their skills, teamwork, and love for the game of soccer.
The season begins with a team meeting and practices the first week of school. Following the return to school from Labor Day weekend, one can expect a 4-5 day a week commitment, typically with two games per week. Practices are held after school from 3:00-4:30, and games typically happen from 4:00-5:00 or from 5:00-6:00.
As the soccer coach, one can expect to lead practices, develop game strategies, and foster a supportive and inclusive team environment. The role will include teaching soccer fundamentals, encouraging sportsmanship, and helping players build confidence both on and off the field. Communication with players, parents, and school staff will be key to ensuring a successful season.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for working with middle school students. While experience coaching soccer at this level is preferred, it is not required. Experience working with middle school aged students in any capacity is important. Knowledge of the game, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create a positive team culture are essential.
