Assistant Boys Soccer Coach - West Linn High School

  

This position will start on August 14, 2026

Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at West Linn High School (3 positions) for the Boys Varsity Assistant, JV Coach, and JV2 Coach.

Salary listed is for 2025-2026 School year, and is yet to be updated for the upcoming school year.   

 

 

Position Summary:

Quality teacher and coach in developing skills and strategies of competitive high school soccer. A coach who values the education-based philosophy in actions and and behavior. One who is willing to collaborate with coaching staff and other staff members of the school.

 

Work with the head coach in developing skills, techniques, and strategies for competitive soccer;
monitor student development and academic progress.

Expectations include valuing education-based athletic programs and the willingness to collaborate with staff members and effectively promote an overall quality athletic program for our student-athletes and community.

 

  • Ideal candidates will possess the following:
  • Prior HS coaching experience (preferred but not required)
  • College playing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Dedication to the positive development of the person as well as the player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be dependable, organized, punctual
  • Availability to commit to evening schedule 5 days a week during the season
  • The coach shall have completed the annual online required trainings as well as other West Linn-Wilsonville employment requirements
