Company Description

The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

 

The Academy Operations Coordinator executes the day-to-day operations of the Academy, ensuring smooth logistical and administrative execution across all age groups. This role is critical in delivering a high-performance environment by managing travel, scheduling, compliance, and equipment needs for players, families, and staff. The Coordinator supports the overall efficiency and professionalism of the Academy through consistent communication, planning, and collaboration across departments.

 

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.

 

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and coordinate all travel, matchday logistics, and on-site operations for players, families and staff.
  • Lead scheduling and communication of training, matches, and events through Teamworks.
  • Coordinate player registration and ensure compliance with MLS NEXT and FIFA regulations.
  • Serve as primary administrative and operational liaison among coaches, staff, players, families.
  • Execute Academy operations, including travel budget tracking, scheduling, events, and interdepartmental needs.
  • Coordinate kit and equipment, such as, inventory, tracking, daily player and staff needs and ordering.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience working in an elite youth soccer environment

Strong understanding of youth player development and the operational needs of an academy setting

Experience with team management platforms (e.g., Teamworks)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex travel, scheduling, and equipment logistics

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$53,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified.
