Position Summary:
Sacramento Republic FC is seeking a Creative Services Intern to support the club’s creative channels by capturing, editing, and developing video content across various platforms. This role is ideal for a motivated student or emerging creative looking to gain hands-on experience in professional sports and develop a portfolio of professional work
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture video content at home matches, training sessions, community events, and club activations
- Edit short-form content for online platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, email, and website, as well as broadcast
- Collaborate with creative team to execute branded, organic, and paid content
- Maintain organized video files and archives
- Support matchday content team’s operations with technical support including photography, copy, and other duties as assigned to support real-time coverage.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro required) and mobile editing tools (CapCut, Canva, etc)
- Strong understanding of social media video trends and storytelling techniques
- Ability to shoot with DSLR/mirrorless cameras; knowledge of lighting and audio basics
- Passion for soccer, Sacramento, and sports storytelling
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
