Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Advise management on purchasing needs with a focus on minimizing waste, maintaining proper inventory levels, and avoiding product shortages.
  • Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure consistent food quality, proper serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Supervise and assist with food preparation and service activities, remaining present during scheduled meal periods to monitor service and gather customer feedback.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and food‑service equipment according to department procedures after each use.
  • Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and dated according to policy; maintain established food rotation practices to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the safety, quality, and integrity of the food supply.
  • Operate food‑service equipment safely and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas that meet health department and company standards.
  • Collaborate with management and support teams to uphold policies, standard operating procedures, and client expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Prior culinary supervisory or lead experience in high‑volume food service, stadiums, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of food preparation, production systems, and kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards; ServSafe certification preferred or required
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
