Director of Coaching - Academy and Classic Youth Soccer

Denver, North Carolina, Overview:

Denver United FC is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Coaching to lead the club’s player development programs, oversee coaching staff, and implement high-quality training methodologies aligned with the club’s vision and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee the implementation of the club’s coaching curriculum across all age groups.

Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate coaches to ensure high-quality instruction and player development.

Organize and lead coaching education sessions and workshops.

Create and implement player development plans tailored to individual and team needs.

Collaborate with club leadership on strategic planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Monitor and assess team and player performance to ensure consistent progress.

Foster a positive, competitive, and inclusive club culture.

Communicate regularly with parents, players, and coaches to ensure transparency and alignment with club goals.

Represent the club at NCYSA meetings, tournaments, and other soccer-related events.

  Qualifications:

Licenses & Certifications: UEFA B, USSF C or higher, or equivalent coaching qualification.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of coaching and leadership experience within a youth soccer club.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in soccer-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements: Must pass a background check and be eligible for employment under NCYSA regulations.
