Full Time Competitive Coach

Sporting Gainesville Soccer Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly qualified Full Time Competitive Coach to join our elite technical staff. This role is designed for a professional who is committed to the long-term development of youth players within our competitive pathway.

As a representative of Sporting Jax Academy, you will be responsible for implementing our club curriculum, fostering a culture of excellence, and managing the day-to-day operations of your assigned teams. We are looking for a leader who can inspire players on the pitch while maintaining professional standards off it.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Field Leadership: Plan and execute high-quality training sessions in alignment with the club's technical curriculum and philosophy.

Game Management: Lead teams during weekend matches, tournaments, and showcase events.

Player Development: Provide regular individual player evaluations and maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding progress.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Director and coaching staff to ensure consistency across the competitive age groups.

Recruitment: Assist in scouting and talent identification during tryout periods and community events.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in competitive youth soccer and a proven track record of player retention and development.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Not required.

Licensing: USSF "C" License or higher (or United Soccer Coaches National/Advanced National Diploma). Not required.

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience coaching at the competitive, academy, or collegiate level.

Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in using player management software and video analysis tools is a plus.

Commitment: Must be available for evening training sessions and weekend travel for games and tournaments.

Must be willing to re-locate and live in Gainesville Florida.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and licensing.
