Overview
Lexington Sporting Club is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Street Team. Street Team Members act as community brand ambassadors, helping expand LSC’s presence across Central Kentucky through grassroots marketing, fan engagement, and event support.
This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work and those seeking hands-on experience in marketing, communications, sports management, events, or community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support fan engagement activities during home matchdays including fan zones, promotional activations, and supporter engagement initiatives
- Represent Lexington Sporting Club at community events, festivals, youth sports games, and partner activations
- Set up and operate LSC marketing tents, tables, signage, prize wheels, inflatables, and promotional displays
- Engage event attendees in friendly, knowledgeable conversations about the club, upcoming matches, and ticket opportunities
- Distribute promotional materials, fan giveaways, and marketing collateral
- Capture basic photo or video content from events for internal recaps and reporting
- Track event participation and assist with basic post-event reporting
- Assist with transportation, setup, and breakdown of event equipment and marketing materials
- Serve as a professional and enthusiastic brand ambassador for Lexington Sporting Club
What We’re Looking For
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging with individuals and groups in public settings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during events
- Ability to lift and transport event materials and equipment (up to 25 lbs)
- Availability for evenings and weekends during match season and community events
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high-energy event environment with large crowds
- Indoor and outdoor event settings (weather exposure may apply)
- Frequent standing, walking, and event setup responsibilities
- Direct interaction with fans, community members, and club partners
- Event-based scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays
