Narrative Description: Part-time/Game Day Seasonal $35.00 each game

Evansville Christian School is seeking dependable and friendly individuals to
serve as Gate Workers / Ticket Sales for high school athletic events. We are actively seeking coverage for Boys and Girls Soccer, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball, and Baseball. As the first point of contact for guests, student-athletes, and families, this role ensures a welcoming environment and smooth, efficient entry into ECS sporting events. We would like one person to commit to all home events for a particular sport, i.e. If you take Boys Soccer you are committing to every home game for boys’ soccer.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Greet spectators warmly and uphold the Christian mission and hospitality standards of Evansville Christian School.
  • Sell athletic event tickets and passes using digital payment terminals and/or cash.
  • Verify digital tickets, season passes, and student IDs at the entrance gate.
  • Accurately manage and balance the cash drawer and transaction logs at the start and end of shifts.
  • Assist spectators with general event information, seating locations, and facility directions.
  • Monitor gate areas to ensure only ticketed guests enter the venue.

 

Requirements:

  • Agree with ECS Articles of Faith, the ECS position statements, and abide by the ECS Code of Christian
  • Conduct, as well as demonstrate support of ECS faculty/staff and policies.
  • Have a heart for children, Christian education, and the ministry of ECS.
  • Complete and pass background checks
  • Exhibit and embrace the ECS Behavioral Core Values:
