Position Overview
The Girls Program & Goalkeeper Director at Pflugerville FC is responsible for leading the overall development, structure, and performance of the girls program (Academy through Select) while also overseeing and implementing the club’s goalkeeper program across all age groups.
This role ensures alignment with PFC’s methodology, delivers a high-quality player and coach experience, and drives the strategic growth of the girls program, including player recruitment, retention, and expansion across all age groups.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, this position includes coaching two teams within the club and leading the goalkeeper program on the field.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Growth (Girls Program)
Lead and oversee all aspects of the girls program (U7–U19)
Drive the growth of the girls program, including increasing player numbers, team formation, and retention
Develop and execute strategies for player recruitment and program expansion
Manage team structures (Green, Blue, White, etc.) and player pathways
Ensure alignment with PFC’s methodology, curriculum, and principles of play
Oversee team formation, roster planning, and seasonal structure
Coaching Responsibilities
Serve as Head Coach for two teams within the girls program
Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with club methodology
Manage game-day coaching, player development, and team communication
Complete all coaching responsibilities including:
Weekly parent communication
Player evaluations and depth charts
Session planning and implementation
Goalkeeper Program Leadership
Design and implement a club-wide goalkeeper curriculum (Academy through Select)
Lead and run goalkeeper training sessions weekly
Recruit, mentor, and manage goalkeeper coaches
Integrate goalkeeper development into team environments
Provide individual feedback and development plans for goalkeepers
Player Development & Evaluation
Oversee player evaluations, depth charts, and placement decisions
Lead the tryout process and final team formation for the girls program
Identify and support top-performing players through club pathways (club pass, Top Performers Program)
Ensure players are placed in the appropriate development environment
Communication & Parent Engagement
Serve as the primary contact for girls program families
Lead parent meetings and communicate clearly about pathways, expectations, and development
Address parent and player concerns in a timely and professional manner
Support club-wide communication standards
Operations & Collaboration
Work closely with the Technical Director and other Program Directors
Assist with scheduling, rostering, and league placement decisions
Ensure compliance with club, league, and administrative requirements
Support registration, tryouts, and seasonal planning processes
