    Position Description: The Girls Soccer Assistant Coach supports the district mission by:

    • Coaching and developing players on the JV team
    • Working with the head coach to install their vision and philosophy on the JV team
    • Assisting the Varsity coach with the Varsity players
    • Building a positive environment that allows students an opportunity to have fun while learning both soccer skills as well as life skills

     

    Terms of Employment: August 24, 2026 � October 22, 2026

    • Must be available for available for practices and games on various days and times after school
    • Current CPR/First-Aid card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes
    • Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and background checks including fingerprinting a the applicant's expense

     

    Salary Range: $2,992 - $3,957, depending on experience

     

    Benefits: Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington state law.  Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 21 years of age or older
    • Experience playing soccer at the High School level or beyond

     

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Experience coaching any sport at the High School level
    • Experience coaching soccer at the High School level or beyond
