Vermont State University Castleton, a member of the NCAA Division III, invites applications for graduate assistant positions in women's basketball, football, women's lacrosse, men's soccer, field hockey, women's ice hockey, softball, women's volleyball, and athletic communications.

The primary responsibilities of coaching graduate assistants will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting, and monitoring of student athlete academic progress.

The primary responsibilities of the athletics communication graduate assistant is to assist the Director of Athletics Marketing and Communications with the promotion and publication of 26 varsity athletic programs. A bachelor's degree and acceptance into graduate school at Vermont State University is required; previous participation and/or coaching experience are preferred. These positions include tuition remission (up to 9 credits per semester or 18 credits per academic year), room, and a stipend.
