Fort Bend Christian Academy exists to glorify God through excellence in a college-preparatory, Christian education. It is the mission of Fort Bend Christian Academy to equip students to thrive spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically.

Under the direction of the Head of School and the Athletic Director, the Coach serves in a key position of Christian ministry and helps fulfill the school’s purpose by coaching, teaching, and promoting the Christian faith, providing excellence in the school’s athletic and co-curricular programs, and faithfully performing all other duties as assigned. Any additional information, requirements, or duties related to this coaching assignment will be provided by the Athletic Director or may be added to this document as “Attachment 1 – Additional Information.”

HEAD MS BOYS SOCCER COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for leading a year-round boys soccer program that prioritizes spiritual discipleship, character formation, and athletic development. The Head MS Boys Soccer Coach is also responsible for the day-to-day leadership and execution of the soccer program, including practice planning, match preparation, student-athlete development, and program-specific equipment oversight.

• Athletic & Spiritual Development
  
  • Spiritual Discipleship: Establish and execute a systematic plan to intentionally disciple athletes daily through the game of soccer.
  • Year-Round Program Leadership: Develop and implement a cohesive program plan across all phases of the year, including preseason, in-season, postseason, offseason, and summer camp programming.
• Program Administration & Operations
  
  • Program Oversight: Lead the daily operation of the middle school boys soccer program, including practice planning, match preparation, roster oversight, student-athlete development, and coordination with Middle School and Upper School soccer staff.
  • Program Compliance: Ensure the soccer program fulfills coach-level expectations related to GHACK regulations and school policies through timely communication, required documentation, and operational follow-through.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement, cleaning, repair, and secure storage of all soccer equipment and uniforms.
  • Match Logistics: Coordinate soccer-specific match details, including communication with players and families, preparation of team needs, and execution of program logistics in alignment with athletic department procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods in an outdoor environment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and frequently lift/move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
