LRUHS is actively searching for a Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach. Candidates should have an understanding of the sport including rules, ability to teach fundamental skills and situational concepts, as well as in-game coaching. Candidates are to provide an educational environment; which fosters the attributes of individual improvement, fair play, sportsmanship, teamwork, and school spirit in pursuit of a common goal. Candidates must exhibit enthusiasm and professionalism while striving to develop a love of the activity and instill an appreciation of the activity as a route to a healthy lifestyle. Candidates should also have good management and people skills, as you will be in charge of developing the Soccer program/culture. Upon hire the coach will need to have completed the Concussion and Implicit Bias courses on NFHSlearn, yearly district trainings, and be CPR/AED certified. Two additional courses will be required by the start of the second year. The Orleans Central Supervisory Union is comprised of two school districts (Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School and Lake Region Union High School) supporting three K-4 elementary schools, three 5-8 middle schools, the Orleans Central Early Childhood Program, and Lake Region Union High School.
