Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach

Uxbridge High School is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable and student-centered Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach to lead and develop our high school program at the JV level.

The JV Coach will work closely with the Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Department to foster athletic skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character in alignment with school and district values. The successful candidate will understand this is a developmental team.

This position works under the general supervision of the Principal and Athletic Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct organized, structured practices focused on fundamentals, skill development, and team strategy.

Teach proper soccer techniques, conditioning, and injury prevention.

Organize lineups, manage substitutions, and implement in-game strategy.

Prepare athletes for advancement to the varsity level.

Ensure proper supervision of student-athletes during games and travel.

Foster teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among athletes

Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, coaching staff, and administration

Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic association policies

Qualifications:

Previous soccer coaching or playing experience (high school, collegiate, or higher preferred).

Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and strategy.

Ability to mentor and motivate high school student-athletes.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to season start).

Successful completion of background check as required by district (Fingerprinting, CORI/SORI)
