Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach (2)
Brief Description:
The Board of Education of Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach.
Salary will be based on the Junior Varsity/Assistant Varsity Coaches salary guide in effect for the 2026-2027 school year. Appointment is made on a yearly basis.
Positions will be located at the following locations:
1. Perth Amboy Magnet School
2. East Brunswick Magnet School
Responsibilities:
The Junior Varsity Coach will have full responsibility for the Junior Varsity team and will assist the Varsity Coach with athletic team activities such as practice, travel, and attendance at home and away games.
If a Junior Varsity team cannot be fielded within ten (10) days of the first official practice, the position will not be filled.
Qualifications:
Be the holder of a New Jersey State Teacher's Certificate and/or a County Substitute's Certificate, have a knowledgeable background of the sport as a player or coach in college or in high school, three years of sub-varsity coaching preferred, and a successful background in working with young people in a related sports field. Coaches will be certified in CPR/AED and Sports First Aid and must register for the NFHS Coaching Principles Course, if new to the profession, within 120 days of employment. The candidate must have completed the "A Guide to Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention" course as well as the "Concussion in Sports � What you need to Know." Certifications need to be completed prior to the first day of the season.
