Position Overview
Polytechnic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Varsity Boys Soccer Coach to lead student-athletes in skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while upholding the values and standards of Poly Athletics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practices, drills, and conditioning sessions tailored to the JV level
  
• Develop and implement game strategy, lineups, and in-game coaching decisions
  
• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive team culture for all student-athletes
  
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration
  
• Engage robustly in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion to promote a healthy learning environment
  
• Monitor student-athlete eligibility, conduct, and well-being in coordination with school staff
  
• Coordinate with the Varsity coaching staff to ensure continuity of program philosophy and player development
  
• Willingness to take on other duties as needed
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Prior coaching or playing experience in soccer at the high school, collegiate, or club level preferred
  
• Demonstrated experience creating inclusive learning environments and opportunities
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work effectively with adolescents and support their athletic and personal growth
  
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  
• Background check clearance required
