JV Boys Soccer Head Coach

Summary
Lakewood High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our Junior Varsity Boys Soccer program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soccer, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and developing young athletes both on and off the field, while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training sessions and practice plans to enhance players' skills, fitness, and teamwork.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and personal development.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team expectations, schedules, and player progress.
- Monitor and assess individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback to players for improvement.
- Coordinate with the varsity coaching staff to ensure alignment in training and player development.
- Promote and uphold the values and mission of Lakewood High School's athletic program.
- Ensure compliance with all school, district, and state athletic guidelines and regulations.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience in soccer, preferably at the high school level or higher.
- Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- A commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
