Role Summary:

The Infrastructure Producer plays a critical role in delivering temporary event environments for the FIFA World Cup 26™. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Infrastructure – Primary Vendor, this position is responsible for initiating, maintaining, and managing infrastructure projects from pre-production through completion—ensuring each site build is properly scoped, budgeted, scheduled, and executed to the highest standards.

This role bridges strategy and delivery—balancing creative vision, operational logistics, and technical execution. The Infrastructure Producer partners closely with internal teams and the OL Permitting Partner Team (not local authorities directly) to ensure all project plans align with established regulatory, safety, and operational frameworks.

The ideal candidate brings strong infrastructure, production, and agency project management experience—capable of leading complex multi-venue builds through careful planning, coordination, and communication.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

Planning, Analyzing, Evaluating

  • Initiates, maintains, and manages infrastructure projects from planning through delivery across assigned sites.
  • Manages workable budgets, work plans, and realistic timetables, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Defines project scope, estimates, and technical specifications; collaborates with the Business Lead team in developing project timelines and deliverables.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates assigned infrastructure and creative projects relative to operational needs and objectives.
  • Partners with the OL Permitting Partner Team to ensure all documentation and timelines meet permitting requirements—without direct liaison to local authorities.
  • Provides ongoing business and platform updates to leadership, identifying upcoming opportunities, risks, and constraints.
  • Evaluates project risk and escalation needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Recommends optimal team makeup and resourcing for assigned projects.
  • Monitors out-of-scope requests and manages change orders and additional estimates.

 

Team Leading, Coordinating, Managing

  • Provides day-to-day leadership and coordination across infrastructure and operations teams.
  • Monitors all project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.
  • Maintains open and consistent communication between agency, vendor, and client teams to ensure positive workflow.
  • Escalates issues to the Sr. Director, Infrastructure – Primary Vendor, when necessary.
  • Keeps project status reports current, enforcing constraints related to schedule, scope, and resources.
  • Champions internal systems and processes that drive higher productivity and collaboration.
  • Motivates project teams to meet critical path milestones and maintain focus through final delivery.

 

Project & Product Management

  • Manages assigned infrastructure projects from start to finish—ensuring successful completion against timeline and budget.
  • Leads cross-functional meetings, ensuring all parties are aligned on deliverables and progress.
  • Oversees vendor management through final delivery.
  • Conducts project quality assurance, reviewing deliverables against scope and technical standards.
  • Supports operational readiness and documentation for event build, operations, and strike phases.

 

Financial & Administrative

  • Tracks all external project costs, maintaining transparency and alignment with approved budgets.
  • Creates and maintains all project documentation including estimates, POs, schedules, change orders, and technical specifications.
  • Manages infrastructure vendors, contractors, and other third-party resources; tracks actual vs. budgeted costs in conjunction with Delivery Budget Director.
  • Prepares and manages materials for internal reviews, client updates, and creative presentations as required.
  • Participates in the preparation of new business presentations or internal initiatives related to infrastructure planning.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in event production, site operations, or infrastructure management for major events, sports, festivals, or agency environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple concurrent builds.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and managing complex multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience working with infrastructure vendors, fabrication partners, and production agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Familiarity with permitting workflows and compliance processes (liaising with internal permitting partners).
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively propose solutions.
  • Ability to travel and work on-site at venues as needed.
  • Proficient in standard project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, or similar).

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:

$63,750 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$85,000 annually
