Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. Position:

The Manager, Matchday Presentation is part of the Marketing & Communications department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a professional sports team located in the Twin Cities and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

 

Position Summary:

The Manager, Matchday Presentation will bring our club’s brand to life through in-stadium game presentation. This position will communicate, assist and execute match presentation for the First Team and MNUFC2, while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet established goals. This is a full-time position based primarily in Golden Valley, MN.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run the MNUFC matchday ‘Show’, including but not limited to building timelines and workback plans, managing and populating run of show templates and tools, executing on‑field fan experiences that feel seamless, exciting, and uniquely MNUFC.
  • Elevate to become the ‘Show Caller’ on match days to execute the run of show while leading cross-functional teams of both full-time staff and contractors.
  • Draft pre‑game briefs and post‑match recaps that capture what worked, opportunities for improvement, staffing insights, and opportunities to elevate the fan engagement journey.
  • Manage and inspire at least one part-time Game Presentation direct report, assist in leading and galvanizing our Brand Ambassador team through responsibilities such as staffing, scheduling, training, and empowering the team to bring our matchday energy and events to life.
  • Drive collaboration across various groups to bring events to life, from music queues to field access, ensuring we are aligned, communicating, and ready to go.
  • Support broader club integrated marketing campaigns and efforts, partnering across the Marketing & Communications team to bring the club’s brand to life on our biggest stage (match day!)
  • Manage and organize all game presentation inventory to keep equipment and supplies matchday and event ready.
  • Oversee matchday mascot operations, including booking, communications, and ensuring PK’s appearances elevate the fan experience at every turn.
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end fan experience strategy for MNUFC2 including run of show building, staffing, scheduling, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, and coach and develop direct report through executing the MNUFC2 run of show.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of match presentation, experiential marketing, and/or live sports event experience
  • Previous direct experience producing and/or show calling a game presentation
  • Experience managing part-time employees
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and professionalism
  • Clear communicator with strong verbal and written skills
  • Organizational skills with a high-level of accountability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds
  • Bilingual skills a plus

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. We provide a competitive benefits package that includes health coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and additional perks to support you both personally and professionally.
