Job Title: Manager on Duty, Pickleball

Job Description:
Sofive Soccer Centers is a rapidly growing business that is developing modern sports complexes with small-sided soccer fields and expanded court-sport programming. The Pickleball Manager on Duty is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pickleball program and facility during scheduled shifts while ensuring that customer needs are met. This position requires strong communication, leadership, organization, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pickleball operations and staff in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
Plan, monitor, and support all pickleball programming, including open play, court reservations, leagues, clinics, tournaments, private events, and rentals.
Ensure smooth and efficient operational procedures so Sofive Soccer Centers can provide the highest level of customer service.
Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with court check-ins, reservations, scheduling, and customer flow.
Ensure that all employees comply with company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, including pickleballs, paddles, nets, cleaning supplies, and other operational items, restocking when necessary.
Encourage teamwork and provide guidance and support to staff.
Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
Implement and maintain safety procedures for staff, players, and customers.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of pickleball courts, common areas, and customer-facing spaces.
Support events, tournaments, and group bookings as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
Interest in or knowledge of pickleball preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make quick decisions.
Knowledge of basic computer software and reservation systems preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
The pay range for this role is:
$22.50 per hour
