Academy Head Coach
About the Role We’re looking for a passionate and driven Academy Head Coach to help build a culture of excellence, accountability, and long-term player development across our club. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing players, collaborating with staff, and continuously pushing standards forward.

Player & Team Development
Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with our playing philosophy and style of play
Evaluate individual and team performance and translate insights into actionable development plans
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to create, implement, and update each player’s Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Collaborate across age groups to ensure consistent player progression throughout the academy
Performance Analysis & Game Preparation
Analyze team and opponent performance using video and data tools
Develop tactical approaches based on performance trends and identified opportunities
Present findings clearly to players and staff to enhance understanding and execution
Required Qualifications
USSF B License (or international equivalent)
3+ years of coaching experience at U13 or higher in a high-performance environment (or equivalent playing experience)
Strong understanding of player development principles and modern coaching methodologies
Experience using performance analysis tools and presenting findings to teams/staff
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
Eligibility to live and work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Sports Science, Psychology, Management, Technology)
Additional “+1” expertise such as sports science, athletic training, video analysis, goalkeeping specialization, or medical background
Bilingual abilities
Strong technical skills (Google Drive, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote)
