Job Overview / Position Description
COPA Soccer Training Center is currently seeking energetic and driven individuals to fill the role of COPA Operations Crew. The Operations Crew is responsible for all the behind-the-scenes operations of our programming. The Operations Crew is responsible for the preparation of our training spaces and equipment while maintaining overall organization throughout the facility. The Ops crew is on radio during sessions, quickly responding to calls if technology fails or additional equipment is needed. In addition, this role may require promptly responding to and addressing minor accidents or spills within the facility as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for all. To be successful in this role, this person must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multitask and be able to work independently. The Ops staff must have excellent communication skills, take initiative, and be invested in producing an exceptional customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee all Back of House Operations including but not limited to the following:
- Assist with equipment preparation, facility set-up and clean-up for training spaces and special events
- Execute, document, and track the facility operational task list.
- Assist in the timely turnover of training spaces throughout the day as programming alters.
- Ensure that the facility is properly secured and locked at closing time.
- Call on management to answer questions when necessary
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area
- Re-stock vending machine and minor janitorial inventory when needed
- Perform minor maintenance on technology and other equipment under the direction of the Facilities and Operations Manager
- Perform minor cleaning and janitorial tasks as needed to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility
- Assist in room turnover for meeting and parties; table and chair set up
- Perform all other tasks assigned by supervisors and/or COPA STC leadership

- Must be able to complete and pass a required background screening.
- Must take pride in maintaining the high standards of our elite facility. We want someone who would see a piece of garbage in the parking lot and pick it up without being asked because that makes our facility look better.
- Must be able to learn and become comfortable with our new technology, operating software, and hardware which will be integral to our facility.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to relate well to kids and adults.

Requirements:
Physical effort and exertion are required for this role. May include: all exercise and sports-related movements, maintenance of equipment, lifting weights up to 45 pounds, and prolonged walking and standing. We are a health and wellness company, so we hope all employees will be inspired to lead by example! Ability to dependably arrive on time at our Walnut Creek facility is a must. All new hires must successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment.
