Overview
Sports Revenue Advisors (SRA) is a boutique sports marketing and revenue consultancy that partners with professional sports teams and venues across the country to develop and secure corporate partnerships, including naming rights, founding partnerships, and integrated marketing platforms.
SRA is seeking a Partnership Sales Executive to focus on identifying and securing corporate partnerships for Lexington Sporting Club, which operates both a USL Championship men’s team and a Women’s Super League team. The club also operates a large youth soccer ecosystem and plays in a new stadium located along the I-75 corridor in Lexington.
This role will focus on generating new sponsorship revenue by identifying prospects, building relationships with decision makers, and closing partnerships with regional and national brands. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Lexington region and the ability to attend in-person meetings, events, and matches as needed.
The position includes a base salary plus commission tied to partnership revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Sales
- Identify and develop new corporate partnership opportunities for Lexington Sporting Club.
- Manage the full partnership sales process from prospecting and outreach to proposal development and closing.
- Create customized sponsorship platforms that align with brand marketing goals and deliver value to partners.
Business Development
- Prospect and qualify potential partners through research, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of local, regional, and national prospects.
- Conduct discovery meetings and presentations with senior marketing and business leaders.
Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with corporate partners and key decision-makers in the Lexington and regional business community.
- Work collaboratively with club leadership to align partnership opportunities with team assets and community initiatives.
Sales Strategy
- Help shape partnership packages tied to team assets including stadium exposure, media, jersey placements, community programs, and youth soccer engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress using CRM and reporting tools.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
Event & Market Engagement
- Represent SRA and Lexington Sporting Club at matches, community events, and key business meetings when needed.
- Engage with the Lexington business community to build awareness and generate partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, sponsorship sales, or business development.
- Experience in sports, marketing partnerships, media sales, or entertainment partnerships is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close revenue-producing deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior executives and marketing leaders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong accountability and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Compensation
- Base salary plus commission
- Commission structure tied directly to partnership revenue generation.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel within the Lexington region for meetings, matches, and events as needed.
- Some evening and weekend availability required.
