PHS Head Boys Soccer Coach

This position is for Head Boys Soccer Coach at Pittsburg High School.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Recruit, train, and retain boys soccer players.
• Monitor academic progress and attendance throughout season.
• Create, organize, and maintain accurate inventory records of gear, equipment, and supplies and provide digital copy to AD at beginning and end of each season.
• Assist AD with creating a competitive schedule.
• Attend and coordinate all practices, competitions, team meetings. 
• Work cooperatively with booster club, parents, staff, teachers, and administration.  
• Effectively manage assistant coaches by providing leadership, organization, and direction.
• Develop a team handbook outlining expectations, rules, and policies for being a boys soccer team member. 
• Provide effective instruction in training and skill development. 
• Oversee team travel and logistics and communication. 
• General care of soccer fields.  
• Other duties as assigned.
