About Soccer Shots:
Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Our motivation is to impact children in both soccer education and character development with application to all areas of children’s lives. We help kids ages 2 to 8 build confidence, teamwork, and life skills while having a blast playing soccer. Our mission is simple: to positively impact children’s lives through the game of soccer.

Job Description:
The Program Coordinator plays an important support role on our team by helping manage schedules, support families, communicate with schools, and coach weekly sessions.

In this role, about 50 percent of your time will be spent coaching children ages 2 to 8 at schools and parks throughout the community. The other 50 percent focuses on program coordination, communication, and logistics support to keep our operations running smoothly.

This position is a great fit for someone who loves working with kids, thrives on staying organized, and wants to grow within a mission-driven team. Current and former athletes or individuals with coaching or youth program experience often thrive in this role. It is also an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both coaching and the operational side of a growing organization while making a positive impact in the community.

What You’ll Do:
  • Coach 15 to 20 fun, high-energy soccer sessions each week for children ages 2 to 8
  • Support Soccer Shots events including free fun days, school events, and community activations
  • Communicate with families and school partners to help ensure a great program experience
  • Assist with class schedules, coach assignments, rosters, attendance tracking, and program logistics using our registration systems
  • Help manage program details including class setup, waitlists, and make-up scheduling
  • Support marketing efforts such as social media updates, photo collection, and promotional communications
  • Help ensure coaches have the materials, information, and support they need for successful sessions
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children through coaching, sports, education, childcare, camps, or youth programs (1–2 years preferred but not required)
  • Someone who enjoys sports, staying active, and helping kids learn and grow
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and schedules
  • Strong communication skills when working with families, school partners, and teammates
  • Comfortable using technology such as email, registration systems, and basic spreadsheets
  • Interest in learning the operational side of a growing organization
  • Passionate about early childhood development and making a difference
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes daytime coaching hours and occasional evenings and Saturday mornings
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 25–30 hours per week)
  • Fuel stipend for travel between coaching locations
  • Coaching gear, training, and certification support
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Meaningful work that positively impacts children and families in the community
Position Details:
This is a part-time position averaging 25 to 30 hours per week, with a balanced focus between coaching and administrative program support. Coaching hours are compensated at $20/hour, and administrative hours at $17-$20/hour, depending on experience. During peak seasons, there may be opportunities for additional hours based on program needs.
