About the Role:
Soccer Shots - Long Island West is looking for a passionate and organized Scrum Master to join our growing team in Syosset, NY! In this role, you'll be the driving force behind agile team performance, helping us deliver exceptional results while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach and mentor agile teams on Scrum principles, values, and best practices
  • Remove impediments and blockers to ensure team velocity and productivity
  • Track and communicate sprint progress, team metrics, and key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement through agile ceremonies and feedback loops
  • Coordinate cross-functional team dependencies and stakeholder communication
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a professional setting
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Kanban, and agile methodologies
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about team development and agile transformation
