Soccer ~ Asst. Coach ~ Boys

Purpose Statement:
Extra-curricular activities are an essential part of the student experience. As an Assistant Coach for Boys Soccer, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and motivating athletes while teaching soccer-specific skills. You will also help foster positive character traits and build strong relationships with athletes both on and off the field.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of team practices and drills.
• Provide individual coaching to athletes, focusing on skill development.
• Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics and game strategy.
• Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among athletes.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Ensure student safety during practices and competitions.

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A passion for teaching and motivating students.
• Knowledge of soccer techniques and strategies.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.
