SOCCER SHOTS COUS:

Soccer Shots COUS (COUS) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Miami, New York City Central, NY, Nashville, TN, and York, PA. Soccer Shots Nashville covers North and South Nashville. Soccer Shots Nashville currently employs four full-time staff, and 30 part-time coaches. Soccer Shots COUS works directly with the franchising office located in Harrisburg, PA.

Reports To: Vice President, Soccer Shots Company Owned Units

Function and Role: The Program Director of Nashville, through the leadership team, is responsible for the development and overall performance of Soccer Shots Nashville Units. Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Business Planning and Program Execution:
  • Creates an annual business plan, as well as territory-specific annual action plans.
  • Forms sales strategies, marketing strategies, and program strategies from the annual plans and executes them through the use of Department Leaders
  • Implements company’s high standards for program quality throughout Nashville and ensures that all employees exceed these standards.
  • Evaluates progress against goals at quarterly intervals and makes appropriate adjustments to plans and personnel, as needed.
  • Maintains contact with clients in the market area, focuses on building strong strategic relationships, and ensures high levels of long-term client satisfaction.
2. Team Building & Personnel Development:
  • Sets examples for all employees in areas of personal character and professionalism - commitment, organizational skills, work habits, leadership, and subject matter expertise.
  • Recruits, tests, and hires team members based on core values and EOS tools
  • Leads regular leadership team and/or all-team meetings.
  • Conducts weekly coaching and counseling with direct reports to motivate, develop skill sets, improve organizational skills, and build leadership strength.
  • Conducts performance reviews with direct reports quarterly and annually, or more frequently, as needed.
  • Empowers leaders on the team to make decisions, grow, improve the business and positively influence culture
  • Builds a positive culture where core values are at the fore front and employee retention is key
3. Business Administration:
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented throughout all employees on the team.
  • Provides monthly and quarterly reports to VP of Company Owned Units regarding financial performance.
  • P&L responsibility - controls expenses, meets budget, and hits goals.
  • Maintains accurate records of monthly and seasonal sales and activity reports.
  • Works in conjunction with FST Accounting and Director of People Operations to approve invoices, request payments, ensure accurate financial record keeping and HR compliance.
Leadership and Annual Planning
The Program Director Nashville will submit an annual business plan and financial budget to the Vice President of Company Owned Units by October 31 for the following calendar year. Through overseeing a Leadership Team, the Program Director Nashville is responsible for executing the annual plan and the overall performance of the Company Units in Nashville. While day-to-day operations and decisions are entrusted to the Program Director and the Leadership Team, larger decisions will be made by the Vice President of Company Owned Units and the SYB Board in consultation with the Program Director of Nashville through written proposals presented by the Program Director NYC Central.

For Soccer Shots Nashville to emerge as one of the nation’s strongest Soccer Shots regions in terms of operational strength, program quality, and financial performance:
  1. Soccer Shots Nashville is a great place to work and attracts and retains high caliber leadership talent as well as teams of dedicated, energetic, and high-quality Soccer Shots team members and coaches.
  2. NPS scores are consistently above the national Soccer Shots average, which is the result of Soccer Shots making a positive impact on over eighty thousand children and their families each year.
  3. Soccer Shots Nashville Company Owned Units to exceed $5mm in annual revenue, are profitable by 25%, and become a recognized and reputable brand name amongst parents in Nashville
Short term goals:
For Nashville to grow, achieve leadership and team stability, and form an attractive work culture.
  1. Annual growth of 20%-24%. Nashville should double in revenue over next five years through expansion of school programs and community programs.  
  2. Cultivate the growth of high-performing staff by providing coaching, stretch opportunities, and development plans that prepare them for their next level of impact.
  3. Soccer Shots Nashville achieves employee satisfaction results that meet or exceed ownership and executive leadership team goals, making “Soccer Shots a great place to work”.
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
