TITLE: Part-Time Stadium Security Guard
DEPARTMENT: Stadium Operations REPORTS TO: Security Manager

WHAT SETS YOU APART
We are looking for an honest, attentive, and perceptive individual to join our Security team. In this role, you will help secure Inter.Co Stadium and protect the Club’s property, guests, teammates, and players. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment while serving as a visible security presence and deterrent to unauthorized or irregular activity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrol Inter.Co Stadium property to monitor and prevent intrusion, damage, hazards, and security breaches.
Lock and unlock doors and conduct facility walkthroughs as needed.
Provide a visible presence that promotes and enforces safety and security.
Monitor activity throughout the facility via closed-circuit television (CCTV).
Respond appropriately to emergencies, including but not limited to fire and burglar alarms.
Monitor access to the venue on event and non-event days.
Assist with event-day security coverage.
Identify and address unauthorized persons and violations of security procedures.
Contact appropriate authorities regarding unlawful or irregular activity when necessary.
Use radios and other communication devices in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Document and report malfunctions, misconduct, incidents, and operational or safety concerns.
Interview victims and witnesses and prepare incident reports as necessary.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Implement prescribed emergency procedures when necessary.
Assist with the development and implementation of public safety plans for day-to-day operations and special events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
College coursework in Criminal Justice, Private Investigations, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, or another security-related field is preferred. Relevant military experience is also preferred.
Six (6) months to one (1) year of security experience, preferably in a similar environment.
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build positive working relationships.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to successfully complete required background screening and employment verification.
Valid Florida driver’s license required.
Valid Florida Class “D” Security Officer License required.
Appropriate credentials as mandated by state, county, or local law.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to walk, run, kneel, climb stairs, and react quickly to unpredictable situations.
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods, including while monitoring surveillance equipment.
