TITLE: Equipment Management Associate, 2026 Season

ASSOCIATE SUMMARY
Associates will have the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and vision of Orlando City SC & Orlando Pride, understanding the importance of how a professional sports organization works (which could include sales, marketing, public relations, operations, or the internal working of the Club), to further develop general critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, communication, and writing skills.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
Orlando City SC is looking for an equipment associate that will gain valuable experience in the day-to-day operations/management of the equipment operations department. As an associate, you will learn all about the operations and logistics that are needed to support players, coaches, and staff for a professional sports organization. This role will support Orlando City 1st team, Orlando City B Team, Orlando City Academy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help organize and maintain inventory of apparel, footwear, and equipment.
Provide daily team equipment laundry service for players and coaches.
Facilitate the timely distribution of team apparel to players and staff during scheduled shifts.
Assist and support coaching staff and players during training sessions.
Learn and assist with thermal label making and heat press applications.
Assist with the intake of incoming shipments, optimize designated storage spaces, and ensure the accurate preparation and distribution of team apparel and gear.
Help with building soccer goals, shelving units, replacing nets, and any other tasks that are deemed necessary.
Other responsibilities and duties might be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of eligibility requirements, knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary:
Applicants could be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in sports business, management, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality within a pro-team environment is required.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability.
Physical Requirements: The ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds oftentimes is required.
Possess a positive, engaging, and professional personality
Strong understanding and passion for the sport of soccer is preferred
This associateship will be around 20-30 hours a week.
The ability to pass a background screening.
The ability to attain and maintain Safesport certification.
Ability to work nontraditional hours in nontraditional settings, including holidays, nights and weekends.
Other Details:
This role is for the rest for the 2026 MLS season.
This role will not have any domestic travel responsibilities.
