POSITION OVERVIEW

The Temporary Coordinator, Workforce supports the planning, coordination, and administration of workforce operations for FIFA World Cup 2026™ transport services in Kansas City.

This role assists in managing workforce logistics including staff scheduling, onboarding, communication, deployment, and workforce data tracking across multiple transport functions such as venue operations, depot operations, LATMP, Last Mile, and Park & Ride.

Working closely with the Workforce Manager and operational leads, the Coordinator ensures that staffing requirements are met, workforce plans are executed effectively, and staff are properly supported throughout training, testing, and live event operations.

The employee’s responsibilities reflect the current needs and requirements of the Company as of the date of issuing this position description. Responsibilities may evolve as operational needs change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Workforce Coordination 
• Support the coordination and deployment of staff across multiple transport functional areas.

Scheduling & Rostering 
• Assist in preparing and maintaining workforce schedules, shift allocations, and staffing rosters.

Onboarding & Training Support 
• Coordinate onboarding processes, training schedules, and workforce briefings.

Workforce Communication 
• Maintain clear communication with staff regarding schedules, updates, and operational requirements.

Staff Tracking & Reporting 
• Track staff attendance, shift coverage, and workforce performance data.

Operational Support 
• Support workforce requirements during test events, rehearsals, and tournament operations.

Data Management 
• Maintain accurate workforce records, databases, and documentation within company systems.

Issue Resolution 
• Address staffing gaps, scheduling conflicts, or workforce-related issues and escalate when necessary.

Stakeholder Coordination 
• Liaise with operational managers across Venue Transport, LATMP, Depot, Last Mile, and Rideshare teams.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong organizational and coordination skills for managing workforce logistics. 
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and operational teams. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). 
• Ability to manage and update workforce databases and scheduling tools. 
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure operational environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in workforce coordination, HR operations, logistics, or event staffing. 
• Experience supporting large-scale events or workforce operations is highly desirable. 
• Experience with staff scheduling systems or workforce management tools is an advantage. 
• Fluency in English required; multilingual or bilingual ability is considered an advantage.
