JOB OPPORTUNITY: TRAVEL COACH 

Gunston Soccer Club is looking for coaches to join our staff in developing young players in a fun environment. 

We are looking for positive, motivated, capable coaches, who have a passion for developing players (boys and girls) both on and off the field, aged U9 to U19. Applicants must have the desire to be a part of a close knit, hard-working team dedicated to continual player improvement and personal coaching growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and execute weekly training sessions three times per week. 

Lead a team of players during all games and events.

Create a practice environment that is well-organized, safe, and fun.

Communicate effectively and timely with players and parents regarding all team matters.

Continuously communicate to players and their parents about the players’ performance and progress.

Assist in the scouting and evaluation of potential players as the club expands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous competitive playing experience is preferred. Passion for the sport of Soccer is a MUST.

Soccer skills as a coach are highly preferred.

Youth development experience and/or coaching license is preferred but not required.

Must have reliable transportation 

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Must be able to clear a State and Federal background check (provided free of charge by the club)

COMPENSATION:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and licensure.

Additional contract work (camps, clinics, training programs, etc.) available throughout the year.

Full set of athletic apparel and training equipment supplied.

Assistance in obtaining coach licenses and certifications available.
