Varsity Girls Soccer Coach

Fall 2026

The Sharon Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Varsity Girls Soccer Coach to lead and develop our Varsity Girls soccer program. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and inclusive team culture, support student-athlete development, and uphold the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead effective training sessions focused on skill development, team strategy, fitness, and tactical awareness

Coach the Varsity Girls Soccer team during preseason, regular-season practices and games, scrimmages, and postseason competition

Cultivate a team culture that supports student-athlete growth both on and off the field

Communicate effectively and professionally with student-athletes, parents/guardians, school administration, and the Athletic Director

Promote leadership, accountability, and good sportsmanship within the team and the broader school community

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience at the high school and/or club level

Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, game strategy, and player development

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the season)

Ability to successfully pass a background check in accordance with school policies
