Title:                      Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach

Job Location:     Paw Paw High School  

Reports To:         Athletic Director

Job Type:            2025/2026 Season Contract  

 Qualifications:    

• Must possess high school diploma
• Extensive experience with soccer
• Cap 1 and/or Cap 2 certification (prior to season)
• First Aid and CPR certified (prior to season)
• Successful past coaching experience, preferred
• Knowledge of the MHSAA soccer rules and regulations, preferred
• Ability to work within a coordinated soccer curriculum from youth through varsity level
• Strong personal and social skills, with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media
   

Job Description: 

• Responsible for all Varsity Girls Soccer practices, games and related activities
• Coordinate in-season and out-of-season training / conditioning opportunities for grades 9 -12
• Work within a program philosophy and curriculum that builds upon itself from grades 9-12
• Develop cohesive coaching relationships that works to develop players from grades 9-12
• Responsible for all equipment and uniform inventory of the team
• Teach and instruct all aspects of soccer, while working to develop and emphasize positive character traits in all athletes
• Provide coaching, encouragement, and guidance to all athletes in the program
• Build meaningful positive relationships with staff and student body
• Motivate players and coaches to work toward program and philosophy goals
• Other duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director 
   

Salary/Benefits:  Per VBCEA/PPEA, MEA-NEA contract Schedule C
