Position Description
The Vice President, Corporate Affairs is a key leader responsible for overseeing and advancing U.S. Soccer’s relationships, reputation, and alignment with critical external stakeholders across the domestic and global soccer landscape.
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, the VP will drive the Federation’s enterprise-level engagement strategy with professional leagues and clubs, international soccer bodies (e.g., FIFA and Concacaf), member organizations, and other high-priority constituencies. The VP will provide strategic counsel to the CEO, CCAO, and other senior executives on matters of external relations, strategic delivery, and long-term organizational positioning. The role requires exceptional judgment, a proactive leadership mindset, and a deep understanding of how effective stakeholder engagement fuels strategic outcomes in a complex, fast-evolving sports environment.
This position will also lead a team of professionals and work cross-functionally across U.S. Soccer’s sporting, business, and operational units to drive coherent execution. In all, this role is a key public-facing and behind-the-scenes driver of U.S. Soccer’s institutional impact.
